Some of ethanol’s most important applications include alcohol, perfumes, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, inks, chemicals, electronics and fuel. Since ethanol is effective in killing microorganisms like bacteria, fungi and viruses, it is the most common ingredient in hand sanitizers and disinfectants. Through the years, Claiser has leveraged traditional supply relationships to become a major exporter of this value-added derivative.

Our efforts have led us to emerge as one of the most consistent ENA buyers in small packs (FCL and ISO) for distribution year-on-year, since our first venture into the business. Our good relationship with a number of plants and distilleries ensure that we are able to source ethanol as per our client’s requirements and at the best price. Over the years, we have expanded internationally and have diversified our sourcing markets to include Pakistan, Brazil and China for ethanol from sugar cane and molasses. Our close relationships with producers have allowed us to regularly supply ENA, ENA Anhydrous and REN Ethanol as well as Heads & Tails in ISO and Drums to Africa, Far East, Middle East and Europe at competitive pricing.
